Typical Faults and Causes
- ▸Water Not Heating: Commercial dishwashers must reach 85ºC during the rinse cycle to sanitize plates. If the water is lukewarm, the heating element is likely covered in limescale (a huge problem in Spain) or the thermostat has failed.
- ▸Not Draining: If dirty water remains at the bottom of the machine, the drain pump is likely blocked by food debris, broken glass, or toothpicks.
- ▸Cloudy Glasses: If glassware comes out looking dirty or spotty, the issue usually lies with a failing rinse aid dosing pump or extremely hard water requiring a water softener.
